Overview

Vancouver Animation School is seeking a Summer School Teaching Assistant to join our team for August. We are devoted to educate aspiring artists in the diverse disciplines that form the Animation, Visual Effects and Video Game industries.

We believe in empowering the artists to empower their art. We already have an awesome faculty, and are looking to expand it by adding artists who are passionate about passing the torch of knowledge to the next generation of artists.

Qualified applicants will have knowledge of:

General knowledge of 3D Animation, Modeling, Rigging, Lighting and Texturing
Maya Software

Qualifications

You must have minimum of 1 year education as a 3D animation generalist:

Certificate or
Diploma or
Degree from a Post Secondary School

Extra points will be given to those who:

Has previous experience working in a studio
Has previous experience teaching
