TITLE

JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT – VANCOUVER

ROLE SUMMARY

Working as a Junior Accountant at ScanlineVFX, expect to partner with the Accounting Manager in a fast-paced and fast shifting environment. You should be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks, collaborate and thrive helping leaders do more. It’s a position that requires you to think on your feet and take initiative to learn new things quickly. As an entry level position, there is an expectation of one-year commitment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Data entry and project coding
Manage accounts payable and process payments
Assist controller with period end closes for multiple offices
Assist controller with special projects
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Post-secondary degree in accounting
Minimum one year experience in office with similar responsibilities
Experience in financial modelling and analysis
Proficiency in QuickBooks
Advanced knowledge in Excel, including pivot tables
Positive attitude and solid interpersonal skills
Willingness to take on added responsibilities
Organized with strong attention to detail with strong written and verbal skills
Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities
Respect for confidentiality and discretion
