Overview
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architect, design, build and solve complex, systematic problems in the domain of automation workflows
- Gather requirements across large collaboration efforts that span multiple departments and/or disciplines
- Write technical briefs and user documentation
- Partner with software development leadership and pipeline team to identify and schedule tasks
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Expert in Python development skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience designing complex and reusable automation workflows spanning multiple processes and DCC’s
- Familiarity with render queues such as AWS Thinkbox Deadline
- Familiarity with Pub/Sub & RPC messaging patterns
- Hands on experience with orchestration & stream processing frameworks such as Beam, Airflow, Conductor, Metaflow, Spark, Flink, Kafka, Celery, etc
- Experience with the following DCCs: Maya, Houdini, Nuke
- Ability to author Docker images
- Familiarity with using Kubernetes to deploy services
- Experience with sequence-based workflows, such as Solaris and Katana
- Knowledge of SQL and ability to author schemas
- Familiarity with Agile methodology
