WildBrain Studios is looking for an experienced Senior Harmony Animator to join our team!  You may have known us as DHX Media – we’ve recently changed our name to reflect our renewed commitment to pushing the creative and focusing on the artist experience. At WildBrain we create epic entertainment experiences for kids and family through industry leading animation. The role:

As a Senior Harmony Animator on this out-of-this-world Production, you’ll be responsible for providing the final polish on each scene before it goes out the door. We’re looking for Animators who can really punch up the quality of animation on this incredible production and to truly capture that feeling of nostalgia with these well-loved characters! This is the perfect position for someone who loves to problem solve and use their creativity to improve the quality level in each scene. Did I mention you’ll be working with a certain famous beagle?

You will get to:

-Revise existing 2D animation to the specifications of the Director and Animation Supervisor
-Incorporate Director’s notes to uphold a high level of quality in each scene
-Polish scenes within a rigorous production schedule with shifting daily deadlines

-You have the drive, determination, creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
-You have the ability to multi-task and prioritize
-You have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
-You are an effective and professional communicator

Specific skills we’d love to see… 

-High level of proficiency in ToonBoom Harmony
-Proficency in other 2D Animation Software is an asset (e.g. Adobe Flash/Animate)
-Previous experience animating for a 2D television series
-Strong sense of acting, staging, posing, timing and storytelling
-Degree/Diploma from a recognized animation school desired
