Overview
The VFX Producer will have previous VFX production knowledge, script breakdown and bidding experience, a deep understanding of the VFX pipeline and must work well in a team environment. They will also be adept at managing a variety of projects including film and television.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interaction and professional communication with clients
- Script breakdown and bidding
- Manage budgeted hours and schedule in relation to the project
- Demonstrate strong leadership qualities and the ability to positively manage the team
- Monitoring project progress, and ensure project completion within budget parameters
- Management and participation in daily and weekly meetings
- Managing dailies and project meetings
- Maintaining adherence to production contract standards
- Meeting budget and schedule targets
- Administrative duties as needed
Requirements:
- Ability to build and manage a professional relationship with clients
- Experience working in a collaborative environment
- Extensive experience in balancing budgets and negotiating change orders
- 3+ years experience producing high volume television VFX projects
- 3+ years experience delivering projects with tight turnarounds and weekly air dates
- 3+ years experience breaking down and bidding scripts
- Passion for visual effects
- Expert knowledge of Shotgun
- Proficient in Excel
- Organized and highly detail orientated
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Assets:
- VFX related education
- Post Production experience a plus
