This position is based in Vancouver. All applicants must reside in British Columbia or Ontario if applying within Canada.
Roto & Paint Artist
Zoic Studios seeks an experienced Roto & Paint Artist. They will be collaborative with colleges and adhere to schedules to complete shots as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Paint out
- Rotoscoping
- BG extension
- 3D projection
- Tracking marker/ wire removal
- Outsource QC
- De-aging / Beauty work
Qualifications:
- 3+ years in Roto/Paint within a VFX studio
- Proficient in Nuke
- Strong eye for detail, colour, and composition
- Demonstrated ability to take direction and follow through
- Work well under tight deadlines in a team environment
- Organized and dedicated work ethic
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Working knowledge of Silhouette is an asset
- Must provide a link to reel demonstrating paint / roto and 3D projection skills along with a breakdown.
Zoic is a Maya/Vray/Nuke studio.

- Candidates MUST be located in British Columbia or Ontario. This is a remote (work from home) position.
