BC Accounting Clerk
Administrative- Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada – 1 year Full Time Contract
This position is based in Vancouver. All applicants must reside in British Columbia and be eligible to work in Canada.
We are seeking an Accounting Clerk for our Vancouver location. This individual will report directly to the Senior Accountant in Vancouver. The position is for 1 year with the possibility of moving to a staff position based on performance.
Duties & Oversight:
- Perform and digitize the daily Accounts Payable (AP) process
- Process the monthly credit card reconciliation in excel and in QuickBooks
- Download monthly invoices from various online accounts and include them into AP pipeline
- Match AP invoices with supporting documents
- Assist with Accounts Receivable
- Contribute toward ad hoc projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
- Intermediate level in Excel
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Organized and punctual with excellent attention to detail
- High level of proactivity, integrity and dependability
- Good interpersonal skills and a team player
Compensation:
- Wage: $18.00 / hour + OT as needed
