Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior 3D Character Modeler & Sculptor for our Vancouver studio. This is a project-based position that will include a variety of projects including film, episodics, stream-series and event television. The successful candidate will focus on organic modeling / sculpting for both creature and humanoids as well as character look development. The Senior 3D Character Modeler reports to the Concept Supervisor and Character Supervisor as well as the Creative Director.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Organic Modeling / Sculpting for both creatures and humanoids
  • Character Look Dev (Shading /Texturing)
  • Comprehensive reel demonstrating photo real capabilities
  • Experience in shading and texturing
  • Minimum 2 + years of experience in a senior role
  • Organic sculpting skill set ( Mudbox / Zbrush )
  • Organic Modeling skill set with focus on mesh topology and construction. ( Maya / Max )
  • Creature Look Dev Shader experience ( Vray / Maya )
  • 2D / 3D texturing experience ( MARI / Photoshop )
  • 2D / 3D concept skills a bonus
  • Yeti Groom experience a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Highly organized
  • Strong attention to detail and follow through
  • Experience in fast pace environment
