WildBrain is looking for Junior Pipeline TDs to join our team!

Our Junior Pipeline TDs are responsible for developing and advancing our software, tools and processes in collaboration with production to bring our pipeline(s) and projects to the next level. Our team will provide training and mentorship to help support your success, and grow a future career in our Pipeline department.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
What You’ll Do:

  • Tool Development:  Design and develop core pipeline tools and processes to meet production needs
  • Deployment:  Test and release code to production by using git and our build systems
  • Support:  Triage production issues; identify, reproduce and resolve bugs / workflow errors
  • Document: Create, update and maintain documentation explaining our processes and tools
  • Collaborate:  Actively participate in departmental initiatives by offering thoughts and ideas

What You’ll Bring:

  • BS+ in Computer Science, Computer Graphics or equivalent industry experience preferred
  • Great Python and PyQt skills or jscript, C++ or other languages a plus

Nice to Have: 

  • Experience in the animation or vfx industry leading software, pipeline or technology teams
  • Experience developing for DCC applications such as Maya, Katana, Houdini, Harmony, Adobe, Nuke or Unreal, and familiarity with their relevant APIs
  • Experience working with Git and other revision control systems
  • Passion and curiosity to learn and interest in supporting Animation productions
