Vancouver, Canada – Full Time – Contract

V2 Games is looking for a Product Owner to assist our Production team develop, maintain and improve our internal production processes and with the management of our various in-house projects.

Responsibilities

Product Owner & Production:

Responsible for full lifecycle of product development;
Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop strategy into an achievable roadmap that delivers on business goals;
Work with marketing counterparts on user acquisition, and user retention;
Understand and monitor key drivers and metrics;
Gathering and unearthing unmet customer needs through market research, data analysis, user experience analysis, focus testing, competitive research and any other relevant tools;
Responsible for planning, executing, and documenting focus test sessions;
Providing valuable input on product design, code, art direction, testing, and analytics;
Designing new game features, writing product specifications, creating wireframes, and other related documentations;
Vision Holder

Develop product vision, positioning, and market segmentation;
Drive product strategy and work with multidisciplinary teams to meet goals to drive revenue;
Manage the ongoing operations during the execution of a project;
Monitoring project performance, creating performance reports, change logs and; identifying potential production risks;
Contributing towards the overall vision of a project and assisting with any development if required;
Ensuring that all documentation is preserved and accessible by the rest of the team;
Requirements

Experience in a startup environment;
Project experience in the digital media industry and have seen multiple projects through to completion;
Excellent reading, writing and verbal communication skills;
Resourceful, enthusiastic and self-motivated;
Able to deliver and receive performance feedback in a mature manner.
Nice to Haves

2+ years experience as a product owner/producer in the digital media industry;
Experience in games development
A background in game design or UX
