Overview

Currently seeking a Vancouver based mid-level compositor to work on a new Netflix 10 episode series The Order, based in Yaletown in Vancouver, Canada. Contract would start immediately and run until the end of November. Must be a Canadian citizen, have PR or already permitted to work in Canada.

Position Requirements:
– Demo reel that shows strong artistic skills including a strong sense of colour, lighting, perspective, scale, and composition
– Excellent attention to detail and desire to deliver consistently high-quality work
– Understanding the limitations of your knowledge and seeking expert advice when appropriate
– Good communication and interpersonal skills as we work with Directors and the Showrunner in-house.
– Ability to work within a small team environment

Duties & Responsibilities:
Able to composite multiple types of shots from simple to moderately difficult. In-depth knowledge of Nuke. You will be working on a live-action Netflix TV show with weekly deadlines.

Job Qualifications:
– At least 3 years of experience in visual effects
– Good to expert knowledge in Nuke
– Comfortable with CG integration compositing in Nuke
