Overview

A Coordinator will collaborate to organize, schedule, and manage our shows. Coordinators will also liaise with all aspects of production and post-production: Director, Editor, external VFX Supervisor and Producers, internal Producers and Supervisors as well as artists. This role will be a significant point of information and the right candidate will balance multiple projects and tasks at one time.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities  

Work with production for crewing, casting and scheduling body of work.
Organize internal dailies, rounds, and meetings, taking notes and following up on information as necessary. Set-up external cinesync/client review sessions.
Ensure production databases are kept updated daily with notes and critical information, statuses and task assignments. Organize and display the information in a physical form (magnet boards etc.) in order to be visible to the team.
Manage edits along with the editorial department.
Establish workflow with external outsource vendor’s communication and tracking.
Coordinate and package shot deliveries including submission documentation.
Prioritization and escalation of technical support issues with our IT and RnD departments.
Anticipate and communicate issues to the leadership team to reach solutions in a timely manner.

Education, Experience & Skills Desired

Technical ability and knowledge to run Windows, and Mac-based programs for reviews with crew (dailies), clients, external vendors, and various meetings. Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
Must possess very strong organizational and communication skills and be able to handle a variety of tasks in an efficient manner while meeting deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to prioritize conflicting tasks.
Work experience in production to include strong working knowledge of visual effects workflows.
Existing knowledge of production databases (e.g. Shotgun) and Adobe Premiere is an asset.
Attention to detail, follow through and strong communication skills.
