Coordinator, People & Organization (Human Resources)

We are looking for a Coordinator to join the Sony Pictures Imageworks Canada People & Organization (Human Resources) team. This position requires an individual who is highly detail-oriented, organized, and who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position located in Vancouver, Canada.

Responsibilities:

• Onboarding:    
o Facilitate new hire onboarding sessions
o Complete onboarding process, and track onboarding documentation

• Benefits:
o Complete monthly billing for Medical Services Plan and Extended Benefits
o Administer RRSP/TFSA program
o Award processing

• Leaves of Absence
o Administer Leave of Absence Policy

• Offboarding
o Complete exit interviews and exit process

• HRIS System
o Communicate HRIS system input
o Run standard reports as requested
o Update HR Information System employee records as needed

• Provide administrative support to the People & Organization team, including travel arrangements and expense reports
• Respond to employee enquiries, on P&O policies and procedures, benefits, payroll and general issues
• As required, assist with new program implementation and additional projects

Skills:
• Must possess excellent organizational and follow through skills and be able to multi-task and prioritize with attention    
• Must demonstrate professionalism, diplomacy and discretion
• Good communication skills, both verbally and written
• Be a self-starter with a team player attitude

Knowledge:
• General working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including benefits
• BC Employment and Human Rights Legislation
