Job Summary:

We are looking for a VFX Coordinator to join our growing team. Under the direction of our VFX Supervisor and Project Managers, your role will be to work with artists to track the progress and delivery of shots according to established timelines. This position requires a high level of project management and communication skills. We are looking for a team player, someone who is proactive and looks forward to daily challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Schedule, prioritize and track artist assignments and project/shot details
  • Work closely with the VFX Supervisor & Project Managers to ensure deliveries are met
  • Communicate daily delivery objectives to artists
  • Track the status of shots in the pipeline and maintain an up-to-date Shotgun database
  • Coordinate and monitor multiple projects effectively
  • Record and track all shot notes (internal, client etc.)
  • Manage and log incoming elements, plates, stock shots, data, notes, etc.
  • Overseeing outputs and client deliveries
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the VFX Supervisor where appropriate

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience as a VFX Coordinator
  • Understanding of VFX process and terminology
  • Experience with Shotgun (Project Management Software)
  • Proven project/task management skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work independently with a strong attention to detail
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Eligible to work In Canada (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, Open Work Permit)
