Overview
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of VFX experience or an extraordinary demo reel displaying VFX animation
- Senior or Lead Animator experience
- Expert knowledge of traditional animation principles and hard surface animation
- Excellent knowledge in Maya
- Arnold experience a plus
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to take on a delegated task with a minimum of supervision
- Good organization and communication skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a strong team environment
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create quality animation using digital tools for assigned shots
- Plan shots with an understanding of story/character context
- Collaborate with and take direction from Animation Leads
- Interact with production, supervisors and team/ peers in order to problem solve and share information related to show/ assigned tasks
- Implement changes and complete shots in accordance with production schedule
- Maintain an open and professional demeanour regarding direction, changes and shifting requirements
