Lux Visual Effects is seeking a Junior Producer to assist, manage and coordinate the flow of work within the VFX department and overall office as required. This candidate will report to our Head of Studio and work closely with studio management.

As a boutique vfx studio we wear multiple hats in the area of production and administration. We are seeking a candidate with a solid foundation of office administration where editing and coordination duties are a big asset. This person will have an interest in learning more about visual effects production and is positive, proactive and committed to assist in any given area.

Areas of Responsibility:
• Coordinating in-house resources and artists for final delivery of VFX
• Liaise directly with VFX Supervisors and VFX Producers of each project
• Support the production and administrative team where necessary
• Set up and maintain directory structure and data management
• Other office duties where required

Position Requirements:
• Proactive nature and self-starter who can work independently
• Ability and initiative to create and maintain project-tracking systems
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office
• Proficiency with a Non Linear Editing program (Avid/Final Cut Pro) an asset
• Exceptional communication skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to work as a team player, and take direction well
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Film and television experience is an asset
