Overview
The Technical Artist is a combination between artists and programmers. Working in the creation of the User Acquisition Ads, the Technical Artist will provide the team with dynamic tools to create artistic assets respecting the style and the technical constraints of the project.
Responsibilities:
· Work with artists to create Niagara VFX effects
· Work with artists and programmers to create 3D art and bring it into the engine library
· Support the artists with the creation of Unreal Shaders
· Develop 3D art pipeline tools and extensions to technical issues in the 3D asset pipeline
· Research the unreal new technologies (Related to Rendering, Animation, Physics,VFX etc.) and bring it to Projects.
· Other duties assigned by the team
Qualifications:
· A minimum of 1-year of experience in Unreal/Unity projects
· A minimum of 1 year of experience as a VFX Artist in the game industry
· A minimum of 1 year of experience with shader writing
· A minimum of half-year Experience with Blueprint
· Eager to learn new stuff in TA area
· Good at modeling and art tools (Autodesk Maya, Photoshop, etc.)
· Experience in a full digital art content creation pipeline (high and low-poly modeling, unwrapping, baking, texturing, level art)
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Good artistic skills (proportion, color, composition)
· The past proven tech-art areas of interest are also important
Prefer to have:
· experience in Houdini
· Intermediate Knowledge of coding language (C++, C#, etc.)
