Our CG/VFX Team is implementing and doing some R&D to a new style of the projects for our new game trailer’s direction – 3D render into 2D (We will have both full 3D game Trailer & 3D  to 2D game Trailer ) and we are also doing R&D for stylized game trailers, based on this new direction our team would like to have some new positions join us to provide their knowledge and support for us to help us succeed.

Report to: Lead Character Artist

Main responsibilities:

– Starting with 3D Modeling R&D for our 3D render into 2D direction & stylized game trailers;

– Create various 3D models from scratch or any artwork necessary to create new objects ;

– Work closely with the Lead Character Artists, R&D Team and Creative Director to find creative and technical solutions and approaches that enhance shots, while meeting project specifications and deadlines if needed;

– May participate in the development of tools and techniques for the department;

– Perform quality control on shots before they are submitted for review/approval, ensuring all technical and creative standards are met, and promptly apply notes received;

– Keep the whole team informed of the status of work, issues to be resolved, ramifications of problems encountered, and recommend potential solutions;

– After R & D: Ensure deadlines are met, advising the project team promptly if delays could be expected.

– Other duties assigned by the team.

 

Qualifications:

– 1+ years of experience in a similar position in the Game/VFX/Animation industry;

– Good knowledge of Maya. ZBrush is required for character modelers;

– Excellent knowledge of the process required to build topologies for production;

– Excellent sense of prioritization and respect of deadlines;

– Have a good eye and attention to detail;

– Ability to learn quickly and assimilate new feedback, info, and workflow;

– Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely;
– Comfortable working on multiple projects on multiple differing pipelines.

– Good communication skills and strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively;
