Our CG/VFX Team is implementing and do some R&D to a new style of the projects for our new game trailer’s direction – 3D render into 2D (We will have both full 3D game Trailer & 3D  to 2D game Trailer ), based on this new direction our team would like to have some new positions join us to provide their knowledge and support for us to help us succeed.

 

Responsibilities:

• Works with the whole team to execute the desired look of 2D Animation & 2D FX;
• Responsible for creating the 2D Animation qualities needed in the completion of CG creatures and Environments in 3D render into 2D projects;
• Participates as a team member in determining 2D Animation & 2D FX various design solutions;

• Provides feedback & solutions to other members of the production by attending weekly & dailies on a regular basis;
• Works closely with Creative Directors, other department members/Leads in achieving the desired look of CG environment/role for key 2D animation & 2D effects;
• Maintains or exceeds a consistent level of productivity while meeting deadlines and producing high-quality work;

• Other duties assigned by the team.

 

Qualifications:
• 1+ years of relevant professional CG/VFX/Game experience as 2D Animator;

• Ability to complete a wide range of effects in a timely and efficient manner that meets the quality;

• Strong traditional painting skills that could support dynamic artwork – 3D into 2D;
• Have a good eye and attention to detail;
• Ability to learn quickly and assimilate new feedback, info, and workflow;

• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely;
• Comfortable working on multiple projects on multiple differing pipelines.

• Good communication skills and strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively;

 

Bonus to have:

• Ability to create reusable FX setups or templates is a plus;

• Knowledge of 3D to 2D is a plus;

• Strong experience in ToonBoom Harmony is a bonus to have;

• Demo reel and portfolio illustrating knowledge and experience in 2D FX, painting, illustration, or design is a plus;

Compensation Package for permanent employees:
