Overview
LEAD RIGGER
Lead Riggers are responsible for overseeing at least one production as well as efficiently working with other Rigging Leads and Supervisors to ensure all shows are running smoothly.
Lead Riggers are expected to have proven their technical and production knowledge and be able to effectively lead and motivate a team.
Responsibilities:
Delegate all tasks & notes to the Rigging team while understanding their strengths & weaknesses
Responsible for Technical Oversight of the show
Train and help other riggers on the show with any technical questions or issues
Write and maintain scripts and related documentation for the department and the show
Find common rigging issues with tools and workflows and bring them up in leads’ meetings
Submit technical revisions at the modelling stage
Submit honest and accurate performance reviews
Qualifications:
Have at least 3 year of related experience
Impeccable communication skills
Being calm and strong under pressure
Proficient in Maya
Proficient in Python
Familiar with 3d related math subjects
Strong knowledge and experience with dynamic systems, eg: nCloth and nHair
Proficient in GIT
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 36 months
Salary: $95,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
