Hey, we’ve been looking for you 
House of Kibaa is looking for a talented Game developer to help build the next generation of games for Web3. This person will be the key in developing core game functionality and in delivering the very best in next-generation VR, AR & MR experiences.

What we need you to do

• Translating design ideas into a functional game code.
• Analysing development needs and challenges at all levels of the game stack, including tools.
• Identify and communicate technical problems/bugs, processes and solutions
• Formulatie solutions with stakeholders, and implementation
• Collaborating with team members of various disciplines

What you have

•  3+ years programming experience involving: architecting, writing, bug testing and shipping.
• 2+ years of professional experience in game development, preferably Unreal Engine.
• Excellent knowledge of C++ & C# coding principles and practices
• Proficient use of standard algorithms, memory management, and container libraries
• Planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to multitask & prioritize
• Effective communication skills, written & verbal, with stakeholders of all levels.
• Computer literacy, including effective working skills with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Nice to haves

• Knowledge of crypto, NFTs, and blockchain is a huge plus. Without this experience, you’ll need to be a quick learner hungry to dive straight in.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent software engineering adjacent program

What to expect

• Hybrid work model out of our office in Vancouver, BC (minimum 2 days in-office).
