Ghost VFX Vancouver is looking for another person to add to our production team!   We are working safely in-studio in Mount Pleasant, but could discuss work-from-home options.

Responsibilities:

·       Ingesting, processing and delivering VFX files and materials, supporting multiple projects and using various pipelines

·       Collaborate with supervisors, team members and production staff to effectively and efficiently meet client expectations

Essential Skills:

·       VFX production experience using Shotgun, or similar shot-tracking databases

·       Understanding of terminology and technologies used to create VFX

·       Previous experience ingesting, processing and delivering VFX files and materials, using various methods including Aspera, FTP, Premiere, RV

·       Experience using Excel spreadsheets

·       Able to work independently, solve problems efficiently, communicate ideas and concerns effectively, coordinate with other departments, exemplifying teamwork

·       Proven ability to correspond and communicate professionally and in a timely manner with clients, supervisors, stakeholders, artists

·       Detail oriented, data-driven thinking

Desirable Skills:
·       Previous experience transcribing notes during reviews, spotting sessions or from client correspondence

·       Experience delivering content to Netflix Content Hub or other specific platforms a plus

·       Editing experience is a plus but not essential – Premiere, Nuke Studio, Resolve

Qualifications:
·       1 year experience in visual effects for broadcast television, streaming media and/or features

·       BC Residency is a requirement; we are not able to offer remote work to employees in other provinces or countries

·       Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents or Open Work Holders only
