Overview

Ghost VFX is adding to our compositing team (work-from-home or in studio, or a hybrid) in Vancouver!  Come join us on a couple of high-end streaming space shows… from full CG shots to CG-integration composites.  Full-time permanent positions are available, with a great location and full benefits package.   Small studio vibes within a larger international group, working alongside the Emmy-nominated Ghost VFX team in Copenhagen.

Required Skills:

·        VFX production experience using Nuke, Mocha Pro

·        3 years experience in visual effects for broadcast television, streaming media and/or features an asset

·        Proficiency in creating high-level, live-action composites using 2D, 2.5D and/or 3D elements

·        Have a working knowledge of VFX colour pipelines, VFX production processes and photographic reality

·        A proven eye for detail, composition, colour and lighting

·        Ability to work independently, solve creative problems efficiently, communicate ideas and concerns effectively, coordinate with other departments

Preferred Skills:
·        Familiarity with other software packages is a plus, i.e. Maya, PF Track, Photoshop, Unreal, 3D Equalizer, Houdini

Qualifications:
·        Degree, diploma or certificate in visual effects, animation, design, graphics or other related field, or equivalent experience

·        Demo reel demonstrating proficiency and experience

·        BC Residency is a requirement; we are not able to offer remote work to employees in other provinces or countries

·        We are not able to offer LMIA work permits or PR/PNP sponsorship.  Working Holiday, NAFTA or Open Permits can be considered.
