Overview
Upcoming position for a VFX PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE. Helpful to have prior experience in television, commercials or film. Must be a Vancouver, B.C. resident and Canadian citizen.
We are an Emmy Award winning visual effects team based at Universal Studios.
The VFX Production Associate will be working from Vancouver Film Studios on Season One of a new episodic television show for the Freeform Network (formerly ABC Family Network). There will also be location shooting around the Vancouver area. Position to start mid to late February and wrap end of July 2016.
Job duties will include:
- Assist setting up office at the studio
- Pick up and drop off equipment in and around the Vancouver area
- Assisting VFX Supervisor and Producer on stage and location shooting
- Assist Producer on setting up meetings and taking notes
MUST have reliable car and car insurance.
Helpful to have prior exposure to FileMaker Pro, Microsoft Office applications.
Must be a team player and be highly motivated.
Looking for candidate with good communication skills and follow through. Good opportunity to get experience with both production and visual effects.
