Overview
Upcoming position for an experienced VFX COORDINATOR. Must have prior experience in television, commercials or film and be a Vancouver, B.C. resident and Canadian citizen.
We are an Emmy Award winning visual effects team.
The VFX Coordinator will be working from Vancouver Film Studios on Season One of a new episodic television show for the Freeform Network (formerly ABC Family Network). There will also be location shooting in and around the Vancouver area. Position to start mid to late February and wrap end of September 2016.
Job duties will include:
- Assisting VFX Supervisor and Producer on stage and location shooting
- Working with Producer on scheduling and shot database management
- Help schedule meetings with local facilities and track progress of their work
- Communicate info and notes to production staff, VFX artists and local vendors
Knowledge of FileMaker Pro and Microsoft Excel is essential.
Must be a team player and be highly motivated.
Looking for candidate with good communication skills and follow through.
Candidates should have experience working under pressure to deliver shots under a tight delivery schedule.
