We’re looking for a junior System Administrator to help our head of systems in the day to day troubleshooting and organizing. * open to part time as well *

Job Description :

Under the supervision of the IT Manager, the system administrator is responsible for monitoring the technical infrastructure of the studio and providing support to the staff in production. He is in charge of monitoring and maintaining the protection of all information and data related to the company. He may also be asked to oversee the file transfers coming in and out of the studio.

Responsibilities :

Provide technical support for the staff;
Deploy tools based on the needs of production;
Manage hardware and archives, artist requests and cable management

Maintaining and creating documentation

Qualifications :

DCS in IT management and networking or equivalent;
Ability to solve various problems related to the system’s functionality and applications on Windows;
Experience with storage technologies and network file systems;
Excellent organizational and communication skills;
Ability to take initiative and work independently;
Technical rigor and the ability to document your work and processes;
Experience in the visual effects industry is a plus;
Open to work flexible hours;
Must be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada and available to work in Vancouver
