Description & Duties

VFX Producer
*Reports to Head of Studio and Head of Production

Once the show is awarded, the producer takes over the original show bid and show from the Head of Production.
Managing time and resources to ensure shows are completed on-time and on budget
Fully responsible for managing the budget, and flagging change orders in a timely fashion
Responsible for updating weekly show reports to give finance accurate actuals and projections.
Supports Production Manager with daily management of schedule
Handles all outsource billing/bidding
Handles all client side VFX Producer dialogues regarding  overages, questions, change orders, etc.
Collaborates with the VFX Supervisor to ensure the client’s creative vision is accomplished
Acts as a leader to the Production Manager and VFX Coordinator ensuring all information is well communicated, including all major client milestones
Works with Head of Production to allocate work to outsource partners
Assisting with bidding new business as required

Requirements

Must be BC Resident &

3-5 years as a VFX Producer
