Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Render shots as required, in a timely and efficient manner
  • Work closely with Finishing Team and UE4 Generalists to address fixes and notes to shots
  • Work effectively to meet Production deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to flag or investigate any technical or artistic issues that might arise
  • Debug and optimize lighting scenarios as required
  • Ensure renders are uploaded to ShotGrid/delivered to Editorial in the correct file format
  • Light to create mood and atmosphere based on artistic direction and story-telling requirements

Qualifications

  • At least one of the following:
    • Experience in Film/TV Animation or VFX industries
    • Industry experience on a AAA or independent video game
    • Degree/Diploma in Fine Arts, Film, or Animation or other relevant discipline
  • Excellent understanding of color, materials, mood, space and the properties of light
  • Experience with Maya or Blender or equivalent DCC is a plus
  • Knowledge of Virtual Production concepts and techniques is a plus
  • The ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • An open and proactive communication style
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work on own initiative
