Overview

We are looking for a talented Visual Development – Environment Artist to join our Vancouver studio. Reporting to the Director of Development & Strategy, the role will work collaboratively with the Lead Designer across multiple projects.

What you will be doing:

  • Explore design solutions for various projects, utilizing different mediums and tools
  • Collaborate with senior creative team and provide input on ideas & concepts appropriate to the storyline
  • Provide artwork as required, building a design vision and confirming to the style of the projects as guided by the Director of Development & Strategy and Lead Designer
  • Actively participate in visual development meetings
  • Participate in, contribute to and/or lead small visual design teams as required

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum 2+ years’ of previous visual development experience in a studio setting
  • Knowledge of animation software programs an asset
  • Strong knowledge of 2D and 3D animation techniques
