Overview

We are searching for a Production Manager to join our Vancouver studio team. We are in need of an organized and well-rounded person who has experience in leading teams and managing people. The Production Manager will be responsible for a key role in helping to establish the structure of the production, its team, budget, timelines and processes.

What you will be doing:

  • Work with Line Producer and other production team members to ensure successful management of the show
  • Track and maintain approval of timesheets, invoices, purchases and assets
  • Contribute in the creation, maintenance and revision as necessary production schedules for the production, coordinating multiple projects, departments, teams and resources where necessary and working in accordance with overall studio schedules
  • Assist with day to day operations and administration of the production, managing crew, budget, workload, technology, product or pipeline concerns, for the complete process through to post-production
  • Work alongside People & Culture department for talent acquisition of new employees as necessary to maintain optimal and efficient staffing on the production; assist in onboarding of new hires to the studio

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role or capacity; preference for those who have previously worked on animated TV series or feature film
  • Previous experience working with Shotgun a requirement
  • Experience working with 2D and 3D animated techniques an asset
  • Post-secondary education in Commerce, Business Administration or related field an asset
