Animal Logic – the company that brought you Peter Rabbit – is looking to add an Artist Management Assistant to the team!

The AM Assistant will be responsible for working with the Artist Management team to help in the day to day administration of the department in the areas of team resourcing, performance management, and relationship development.

What you’ll get to do:

  • Together with the Artist Managers and Coordinator, maintain the Artists projected schedule data into the company schedule
  • Update resourcing tracking where appropriate and attend resourcing meetings
  • Understand the company project changes and their progress.
  • Provide regular updates to Artist Managers on upcoming important contract and performance dates
  • Update and schedule performance reviews with crew and their Artist Manager
  • Gather appropriate feedback from production, supervision, lead and Artists for reviews
  • Provide written contract updates to HR and/or Finance where appropriate
  • Update company HRIS system with written summaries and notes
  • Assist Artist Management team oversee the Artist time off process
  • Foster and support a positive, collaborative, and productive culture within the department; ensure relationships with production leadership and with other production departments are collaborative
  • Take steps to ensure that artists feel connected to the studio
  • Ensure all new artists are introduced to and meet with their appropriate Artist Manager, as well as a department contact (Buddy) – set up applicable meetings
  • Provide scheduling for individual Artist Managers with crew and other relevant meetings
  • Establish and maintain an appropriate level of communication with all crew members that ensures that all business is conducted in an environment of confidence and trust

What you bring:

  • Proven experience as an assistant, coordinator or similar
  • Proven administrative experience
  • Motivated, pro-active, flexible
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
